Another blog?

Yeah, here’s another one.

Why in God’s name do we need another blog?

Well, I can start telling you that this isn’t ‘ just another blog’  but I guess thàt depends on your taste.

The main reason for me to start this blog is to publish my writing and obviously getting as much readers as possible. The fashion stuff is another big passion though; if you get bored by my writing at one time, at least you'll know I'll make it up to you in pictures, I guess.

Me, I’m a regular Bridget Jones. And proud of it. “Perfection gets weary after a while” exactly like Julia Roberts says in ‘My best friend’s wedding’. ‘Flaws’ are much more exiting, so why not celebrate them?

I love killer heels, but I always make sure they are stacked and platformed; there’s no way I can walk on them properly if they’re not. I carry them in a bag to work wearing my flats, because I landed on some smelly dude’s lap way too many times when the Metro made an abrupt stop. I hate kitten heels, because I always get stuck in between the bricks on the side walk, always leaving me with one shoeless-foot. Panty hoses are never safe with me. There's no way I can arrive to my destination without a tear, crinkle or stain somewhere on my outfit or my make-up smudged in places it has no evident task.

My kid’s 2 years old, which means I need to run after her more than I would like to; needless to say I am permanently trying to find a balance between practical, yet trendy and beautiful, without having to look like a colour-blind mommy with a bad taste in combining outfits.

I tend to overthink stuff way too much; over-analyzing and second-guessing someone’s motives is like second-nature to me. It makes for hilarious situations, funny quotes and hopefully a lot of good writing.
